Tickets & ConfirmationImmediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of booking by email. Within 48 hours (often on the very same day!) of submitting your reservation you will receive a voucher confirming all details. Description
Every year, gray whales swim from Alaskan waters to Mexico and back. California's coast is a prime location for viewing them on their way. There is no better way to enjoy the whales than by kayak!
Paddle a mile off-shore and see these magnificent creatures. There is a good chance you'll see other marine creatures like sea lions, seals and dolphins. We can't guarantee wildlife sightings, but there's no better place for them!
La Jolla's rugged, beautiful coastline, gray whales and kayaking fun - that sounds like an adventure you won't want to miss!
This whale watching kayak adventure operates only in the winter, so we offer complimentary warm drinks and snacks after your water adventure to warm up!
Participants MUST be able to swim AND feel comfortable in the water. Children must be at least 10 years old to participate. There is a weight limit of 375 pounds.
We are equipped with both tandem and single-person kayaks. Please note: Generally guests must be at least 12 years old to use a single-person kayak.
The waters near La Jolla are usually between 65-70 degrees. Guests are provided with wetsuits.
All kayak and snorkel equipment is provided.
We also provide changing rooms for our guests, as well as cubby holes where they can store their belongings for the duration of the tour.
