After lunch, relax by the ocean as mariachis serenade you. Finally, we travel to Rosarito Beach, which was once a hangout for Hollywood stars. Visit the beach, relax & enjoy!

This tour was good fun! I have to start with my complaint though. The tour started at 10am - we were supposed to be picked up from outside our hotel (downtown) at 9.30am, and the bus didn't turn up. I went back inside the hotel at 9.45am to use their phone, and the company had just left me a msg saying that they couldn't pick us up because of traffic and we needed to get a taxi to the old town to catch the bus from there. It was no easy task to get there in 15 minutes! We made the bus just in time. I was disappointed by this because I had phoned them on the Saturday night to confirm the pick up time and they said it would be fine. Luckily we still made it though. The tour started in Tijuana - we had about 1h 20m to wander around - this was definitely long enough as a lot of the shops sell the same stuff (all gifts/souvenirs), so it was long enough to get a feel for the place and buy a bottle of Tequila! (There are also a lot of pharmacies there if you need to stock up on medicines - apparently cheaper than in the states.) The next stop was for lunch - the lobster was lovely and a margarita - yum! The last stop was the best - Rosarito beach - we had about 1.5 hours here and this was long enough to do horse riding on the beach and dip your toes in the Pacific! They also had quad bikes there, if you prefer that to horse riding! I would recommend this tour, but just beware that even if you confirm your hotel pick up, they might still ask you to travel to the Old Town!

Thank you for a very nice day. I wouldn't have been able to drive and take my elderly aunt out for a beautiful day. I only had a few days in California to visit so as we traveled, we visited. She had not been to Mexico in over 70 years and it was a treat to her. The bus operator was very knowledgeable and helpful when she couldn't walk all the distances to the activities. The lobster fest was delightful and a very delicious meal. My only concern was at the border (we had to wait nearly 3 hours on the bus) and I wish we would have done Tijuana downtown last (we were kind of heckled by the merchants). I would have liked a little more time at the beach. (My first time at the Pacific beach). It definitely was convenient for the pickups and the bus was in very good condition. Thanks.
