Description
See the fantastic towns of Tijuana & Rosarito before traveling down the coast to experience for yourself this small village along the Baja coastline. This is truly a magnificent stretch of coastal highway (approximately 70 miles south of the border). Enjoy an endless stream of panoramic views afforded by the naturally rocky terrain.
Experience first hand the small villages, waves breaking over rocky ledges and sandy beaches. A truly enjoyable and safe way to see this magnificent stretch of coast. Minutes south of Tijuana, you will stop in Rosarito to visit the world famous Rosarito Beach Hotel.
Upon arriving in Ensenada at about 12:00pm, you will see a sleepy fishing village that has come of age. The town is bustling with many shops and eateries to enjoy and explore. Many visitors say that this is the most memorable part of their trip to San Diego. Don't forget to bring your camera!
Enjoy lunch at one of Ensenada's finest restaurants, while sipping a margarita (lunch and 1 margarita per person included). Lunch includes your choice of 5 entree selections, a margarita or other beverage, soup or salad and dessert (vegetarian meals are available).
Take about 3.5 hours to shop or just stroll through the heart of town before returning to San Diego. Our professional guides will help you take all the guesswork out of international travel by providing helpful hints and suggestions on what to see and do.
Why Ensenada you ask? Like Tijuana, Ensenada will give you all the discount shopping excitement you can handle, but overall this tour is more upscale than our Tijuana tour.
If your purpose for visiting Mexico is for the best shopping in the world, then check out our Tijuana tour, or if the beaches of Mexico sound appealing to you, please take a look at our Rosarito day tour, but for a more upscale city with great bargains and lots of culture, Ensenada is the place for you - so make your reservations today.

Visit our neighbors to the south! The warm and inviting country of Mexico is famous for its rich culture and its bargain shopping. We'll take care of all the work - driving, crossing the border, etc - all you need to do is sit back and have a good time. All coaches are air-conditioned for your comfort.
U.S. Citizens - Passport is required for re-entry to the United States. Children, 17 years old and under, only require a birth certificate.
Non-U.S. Citizens - A passport, I-94 card or resident alien card is required. Due to heightened security at the border, additional paperwork is required from visitors from some countries. This only applies to a very few countries. Please be aware of the status of your country or origin or check with the local immigration office to ensure that multiple-entry into the U.S. is allowed. This will avoid unnecessary delays. Should any person be detained upon re-entry to the U.S., we will be unable to wait while the additional paperwork is filed.
Visitors may purchase up to $400 in merchandise duty free and 1 bottle of alcohol per person (must be at least 21 years old).

The trip itself and the tour guide/driver were fantastic! It was everything and more than we had hoped for. There were, unfortunately, only 11 people in this great big motor coach so there wasnt too much socializing. But we had a wonderful time! Thanks, Juanito!!!

Our guide was a fountain of information. Loved him! Had a great time on the way and while in town. Some of the most beautiful scenery I have seen in a long time. Even though the bus caught on fire on the way back it did not dampen the enjoyment we had on the whole trip. Thank you to our guide for a great adventure!

I was very happily surprised that the Baja tour even ran because there was only 2 of us signed up. I am very grateful it did though because it was fantastic! Our guide was awesome and added so much to the tour with little extras! It was safe and the scenery was beautiful! I highly recommend this tour!

Sisters Reunion, a side trip to Ensenada, Mexico
My sister, Anna, from Hong Kong and my younger sister, Molly, from Canada are in this photo, taking in the restaurant the tour took us to for lunch. The view from the window is the giant Mexican flag by the harbor. It is a marvelous flag. The restaurant's food was excellent. Try the squid steak, the best I have ever had.
