Description
As early as the 1800's, Tijuana was a popular tourist destination. If you like to shop, sightsee & taste genuine Mexican cuisine, then you'll love this tour of Tijuana - San Diego's friendly international neighbor to the south!
This is a narrated driving tour that blends the old and the new in a way that only Tijuana can. After you arrive at our terminal, which is located on the famous Avenida Revolucion, shop the stores and boutiques of Tijuana. The driver will give you helpful shopping tips. Most merchants speak English.
Take some time to check out the Tijuana Cultural Center, a multimillion-dollar showcase, displaying exhibits about Mexico's people, events and culture. Or, head over to Plaza Rio, an upscale shopping mall.
After shopping, sightseeing and sampling the Mexican cuisine, we'll return you to your San Diego hotel.
Please Note: The morning departure focuses more on the history and buildings of Tijuana with a little free time for shopping and dining, and the afternoon departure takes a brief panoramic tour and offers more free time for shopping and dining.

U.S. Citizens - Passport is required for re-entry to the United States. Children, 17 years old and under, only require a birth certificate.
Non-U.S. Citizens - A passport, I-94 card or resident alien card is required. Due to heightened security at the border, additional paperwork is required from visitors from some countries. This only applies to a very few countries. Please be aware of the status of your country or origin or check with the local immigration office to ensure that multiple-entry into the U.S. is allowed. This will avoid unnecessary delays. Should any person be detained upon re-entry to the U.S., we will be unable to wait while the additional paperwork is filed.
Visitors may purchase up to $400 in merchandise duty free and 1 bottle of alcohol per person (must be at least 21 years old).
English is widely spoken by most merchants, and U.S. currency is accepted.

The bus driver was the best. We had a fantastic time on the drive to and from Tijuana. Tijuana was a huge eye opener. Great shopping, but listen to your driver on where you can or cant go. This is a must do for all shoppers.

The trip was great. The bus pickup was right on time. The bus was comfortable, but the best part of the experience was spending the day with our tour guide in Tijuana. His local knowledge, great sense of humor and pull with the Tijuana merchants made the day most enjoyable.

The bus was a little late picking us up, but understandable when they are picking up at so many hotels. The bus drivers were very nice, funny, and gave us all the information that made our trip a wonderful experience. I would recommend your tours to anyone. And when I come back to San Diego will definitely book a trip. Thanks a lot!

Our driver was excellent and made us feel at ease when going over the border. We had heard a lot of horror stories and were told to stay away but we were glad we did the tour. By the time we got there we only had three hours to spend looking around, eating and shopping. Another hour or so would have been better but apart from that it was great.
